The Siat head office is located in the south of Brussels (about 15 minutes from the city centre) in a beautiful park near the Forêt de Soignes.

The main areas of activity of the Group head office are:

• Human Resource Management for the expatriate consultants and seconded staff of the Group;
• Provision of independent procurement services for all subsidiaries of the Group, ranging from the supply of bulk agricultural inputs to the urgent shipment of industrial spare parts;
• Centre of coordination of the inter company activities;
• Press Release and Communication for the Group (websites, newsletters, advertisements, etcetera);
• Financial engineering for the Group.

 In addition to the above, the corporate head office ensures the following:

• Financial audit for the Subsidiaries;
• Technical audit for the Subsidiaries;
• Agronomic audit for the Subsidiaries;
• Environmental audit for the Subsidiaries;
• Coordination of export activities of the Subsidiaries; 
• Evaluation of new business opportunities. 

Siat relies on a pool of highly specialised and experienced external consultants to perform a number of audit functions for the group. Siat also has permanent working relations with universities and research institutes and has access to their know-how.
