Partnership with Solvay Business School
Siat enters into a partnership with the "Marie and Alain Philippson Chair in Managing for Sustainable Human Development" at the Solvay Business School. This partnership formalises the commitment between both parties concerning the "Siat Award Fellowship". Within the framework of this Fellowship, the Siat Group will host a final-year student of the Solvay Business School on one of its sites for a period of two to three months. The purpose is to expose students to African/European working environment and to study a subject that centres around an area of research of the "Marie and Alain Philippson Chair in Managing for Sustainable Human Development".

"This Chair has as its objective to create, within the Solvay Business School, an international centre of excellence in learning and training in the field of Managing for Sustainable Human Development.
The Chair will embrace the following areas of research:
- The actors and stakes involved in global exchange
- The social and commercial stakes of global exchange
- Trade regulation mechanisms
- The concept of efficiency in the fields of environment, market, culture and institutions.
- Behavioural, intellectual and strategic skills in international relations.
Research within the scope of this Chair begins with the study of developing countries and their integration into the global economy. The Chair also studies new opportunities for such countries to promote growth-generating employment and poverty reduction, whilst lowering the risk of negative economic, social and environmental effects."
